PrivacyPDF does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We use no tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or user behavior tracking tools. All visits are completely anonymous.

2. Local-Only Processing

All PDF files uploaded to this site are processed entirely within your browser. No file data is ever sent to our servers or any third-party servers. Once you close the browser tab, all data is permanently cleared from memory.

3. Browser Extension (Chrome)

The PrivacyPDF Chrome Extension ("PrivacyPDF: Local PDF Compressor") follows the same zero-collection principle as this website. All PDF compression happens entirely on the user's device — no file, file name, metadata, or any other data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party server. The extension has no network permissions (host_permissions is empty) and a strict Content Security Policy (script-src 'self'; object-src 'self') that forbids loading any remote code. All third-party libraries (pdf.js, pdf-lib, JSZip) are bundled inside the extension package itself.

The extension does not collect, store, or transmit: personally identifiable information, health information, financial or payment information, authentication information, personal communications, location, web history, user activity (clicks, keystrokes, scrolling), or website content. The only user-selected data (PDF files) is processed transiently in browser memory and released as soon as compression completes; it is never persisted or sent anywhere. The extension requests only the minimum permissions necessary for its core function, and uses no background telemetry, analytics, or tracking.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or storage services. Since we collect no data, there is nothing to share.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

• Right to Access: No data is collected, so nothing to access.
• Right to Deletion: No data is stored, so nothing to delete.
• Right to Object: No data processing occurs.
• Right to Portability: Not applicable — we hold no data.

Because PrivacyPDF processes all files locally in your browser and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, the core requirements of GDPR and CCPA (data access, rectification, erasure) are automatically fulfilled — there is simply no data to request or delete. Privacy is built into the architecture, not bolted on by policy.

6. Third-Party Resources

PrivacyPDF loads only self-hosted, static JavaScript libraries (pdf.js, pdf-lib, JSZip) from this domain. No external CDNs, no tracking scripts, no analytics, and no third-party fonts are loaded. Every byte of code running in your browser comes from privacypdf.org itself.

7. Children's Privacy

This site does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. We collect no data from any user regardless of age.
